Vanilla Almond Granola

If you love granola, you will love this recipe!  It also makes your house smell amazing while it’s cooking! It’s a great healthy option for any breakfast or snack!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.  Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.  Combine all of the ingredients in a medium size bowl and mix until combined. Spread the mixture onto the prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.  Allow the granola to cool.  The cooling will help the granola to obtain a crunchy texture. Serve immediately or store in an air tight container.
