Meet My Family…

These people are my world! (Left to Right…Matt, Laci, Aaron, Tami, Jason, Annie, and son-in-law Bronson) I would do anything for them! I want to especially give a shout out to my husband Aaron. He is my partner in this new adventure and the mastermind behind the videos and all things technology. I couldn’t do this without him and his support!
How It All Started…

I’ve had a love of cooking since I can remember. I loved to bake cookies on Sunday or help make dinner for my family. When I was about 12 years old my mom arranged cooking classes for me and a friend and I loved it! I entered some 4H contests and won first place on my Snickerdoodles and Banana Bread. This was just the beginning…I spent countless hours cooking with my grandma who lived walking distance from my home. We made cookies, jams, bread, we bottled and preserved nuts and fruit from her trees, and made dinners and treats for everyone! I have learned so much from the many women in my life…from my grandmother’s, to my mom, and my mother-in-law. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them!

I’ve continued cooking since I started my own family in 1999. I married Aaron McArthur, also from St. George and have 4 children and a son-in-law. Aaron’s family also has a history of baking that combines with my own. His grandparents, James and Lizzie McArthur, started the first bakery in St. George. It was called “St. George Quality Bakery”. My grandma, Annie, worked for Aaron’s grandparents in their bakery. We love sharing this heritage!

Over the years I’ve had many people ask for my recipes! A couple of years ago I decided to start teaching youth and adult cooking classes out of my home. It meant so much to me to be able to share my gifts and talents with others. I loved watching their confidence grow in the kitchen and the joy it brought them as they shared with their families! I’m hoping that Rolled From The Same Dough can do the same for all of you!
