Grandma’s Peach Cobbler

Grandma’s Peach Cobbler

There’s nothing better than fresh peach cobbler!  This is a favorite summer or fall dessert.  We love to make it out camping. It can also be made with canned peaches but is definitely the best during peach season!

Ingredients

  • 8 large peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon

Topping:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  • Spread sliced peaches evenly in a greased 9×13 pan. Sprinkle the peaches with the 1/3 cup sugar tablespoon of cinnamon.
  • To make the topping…in a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt and mix.  Then, add the eggs and mix until you have a crumbly mixture.  Spread the mix over the top of the peaches and dot with butter.
  • Bake on 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.  Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
