Copycat Pizookie (Chocolate Chip Skillet Sundae)

These pizookies are a family favorite!  They will satisfy any chocolate and ice cream craving!  The skillet is a fun way to serve them.  We hope you love them like we do!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter I use salted, sweet cream butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips or 12 ounces

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl combine butter and sugars until creamy.  Then, add the vanilla and eggs and mix until creamy again.  Slowly add the dry ingredients until well combined then, slowly add the chocolate chips at low speed just until well mixed.
  • Place a large scoop of cookie dough into the center of a greased skillet.  I use 5 inch Lodge skillets and a 4 tbsp. #16 cookie dough/muffin scoop.  Place the skillets in the oven on a middle shelf and bake at 375 degrees for 10-12minutes or until a light golden brown.
  • To serve, allow them to cool slightly then place a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the cookie and drizzle with your favorite chocolate and caramel sauce.
