Pour the water and yeast into a large mixing bowl and mix until combined. Let it stand until foamy, about 5 minutes. Then, add the sugar, oil, and salt and stir. Last, add the flour and mix/knead until it forms a smooth ball of dough.
Lightly brush or spray a large bowl with olive oil and place dough inside. Cover and let rise for about an hour or until double in size.
Place dough onto a floured surface and separate dough into pieces, depending on the number of pizzas your making. It should make 1 large pizza, 2 medium, or 4-6 small individual pizzas.
Gently knead each piece of dough, forming it into a round. Let rest on the floured surface for about 10 minutes.
Roll dough out with a rolling pin, also shaping it with your hands until it’s about 1/4-1/2 inch thick. Place dough on pizza stone or baking sheet and cover it with desired toppings. Bake pizzas at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
